Further Cat evolution
More wild adventures with my cat Evolution! Once upon a time, in a faraway galaxy called Andromeda, I became a cat named Boolon. A Maine coonon Earth, that's kinda like me. These cats originally came from a place called Maine in the USA. They were made to survive in super cold winters, so they have thick fur that keeps them warm even when it's freezing outside. Their tails are long and fluffy, like raccoons, and they use them to stay cozy in the chilly weather. People officially recognized Maine cats as a special breed in the mid-1970s. They usually live for about 12 to 15 years. These cats are smart, playful, and super loyal to their owners. Believe it or not, I was a really smart cat! I was also super independent. My fur was a big mess, all thick and messy, and my tail was really long and bushy. But here's the weird part - my fur was lime green with silver specks. Eww, right? I lived for a really long time, a whole 28 years! The coolest thing about me was that I loved water. Most cats don't, but I was different. I loved swimming and getting wet. My fur was so thick that it soaked up most of the water, and because of the low gravity, I could float around like a boss. Being a water-loving cat was awesome because I had access to tons of fish to eat. And let me tell you, there were so many different kinds of fish in the galaxy where I lived. Yummy! Every day, I had so much fun teasing and playing with the fish. But here's the thing - I would only play after I had eaten enough. The fish got to know me really well, and they would ask if I had eaten yet. If I said no, they would swim away super fast. It wasn't always like that, though. I had to learn some important lessons about life and how things change over time. I had to understand the difference between what I needed and what I wanted. In my early days, I would just eat and eat out of greed, chasing, catching, and eating fish just for the fun of it. I was young, unaware, and definitely naive. One day, something really memorable happened. I woke up feeling restless because I didn't get enough sleep. I was grumpy, angry, and super hungry. I was even hungrier than usual, which was a recipe for disaster if you think in a simple way. But when I looked at it from a different perspective, I was actually ready to learn something amazing. I jumped right into the nearest lake, which was called ST Valentines. The fish in the lake had no idea what was coming. I snapped and gobbled them up like crazy, eating so many fish without them even knowing. It was like a big fish massacre on ST Valentines day. I kept eating and eating until I couldn't eat anymore. Afterwards, I crawled out of the lake and took a moment to think. I felt happy and satisfied, at least for a little while. But then, out of nowhere, I felt a really sharp pain in my stomach. It hurt so much that I cried out like a little kitten. I rolled around in agony, holding my stomach and feeling really sick. I threw up over and over again, feeling like I was dying. I felt dizzy and nauseous, and everything started to go black. In that moment, I saw two images in my mind. They looked like the zodiac signs of Pisces, which is a fish, and Aquarius, which is a water bearer. A voice, like a lady's voice, told me that I didn't need to be greedy. Fish are like our children too, and they're happy to help us survive. But being greedy is not good. We need to find balance and treat them as our friends. The voice and images slowly faded away. Days later, I woke up feeling better. I had gotten rid of all the fish that made me sick. The images and the voice were still fresh in my mind. From that day on, I became known as honest Boolon. I only ate what I needed, not more than that. It was an important lesson for me to learn and grow. I'm grateful for this experience and I hope you are too. GG 🙏💜
